Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for purchases made through RecoveryBuddy AI (“RecoveryBuddy AI,” “Platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), owned and operated by Digjy LLC.
This Policy applies to Recovery Clients, Peer Recovery Coaches, treatment providers, organizations, businesses, and all other users who purchase products or services through the Platform.
This Policy should be read together with our Payment Terms, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other applicable legal policies.
By purchasing or subscribing to any RecoveryBuddy AI product or service, you agree to this Refund Policy.
General Refund Policy
RecoveryBuddy AI primarily provides digital products, software, artificial intelligence services, online subscriptions, educational resources, recovery support tools, and technology services.
Because these services are delivered electronically and become immediately accessible, all purchases are generally final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing by RecoveryBuddy AI.
Eligible Refunds
RecoveryBuddy AI may, at its sole discretion or where required by applicable law, issue a full or partial refund in circumstances including:
Duplicate charges.
Accidental duplicate purchases.
Billing errors caused by RecoveryBuddy AI.
Unauthorized charges verified after investigation.
Technical errors preventing access that RecoveryBuddy AI cannot reasonably resolve.
Charges made after a properly canceled subscription where required.
Other situations where RecoveryBuddy AI determines a refund is appropriate.
Approval of one refund request does not create an obligation to approve future requests.
Non-Refundable Purchases
Unless required by applicable law, the following are generally non-refundable:
Subscription fees already billed.
Monthly membership fees.
Annual membership fees.
AI service usage.
Recovery planning services.
Recovery journals.
Digital downloads.
Digital products.
Educational materials.
Recovery meeting registrations after access has been provided.
Coaching sessions already completed.
Provider services already rendered.
Organization subscriptions already activated.
Platform setup fees.
Administrative fees.
Convenience fees.
Processing fees.
Custom development services.
Personalized services.
Promotional purchases.
Discounted purchases marked as final sale.
Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting RecoveryBuddy AI.
Cancellation:
Stops future recurring billing.
Does not automatically generate a refund for amounts already paid.
Does not affect charges already processed.
Remains effective at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by law.
You will generally retain access to paid services until the end of the billing period already purchased.
Free Trials
If RecoveryBuddy AI offers a free trial, you may cancel before the trial period ends to avoid being charged.
If cancellation does not occur before the trial expires, the applicable subscription fee may be charged automatically.
Charges resulting from failure to cancel before the trial expires are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact RecoveryBuddy AI as soon as possible.
We will investigate billing concerns in good faith and may request additional information to verify the transaction.
Where appropriate, RecoveryBuddy AI may issue:
Refunds.
Billing corrections.
Credits.
Adjustments.
Duplicate Charges
If duplicate charges occur because of a technical or processing error, RecoveryBuddy AI will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, issue a refund or account credit.
Unauthorized Transactions
If you believe your payment method was used without authorization, you should:
Notify your financial institution immediately.
Contact RecoveryBuddy AI promptly.
Provide reasonable information to assist with the investigation.
RecoveryBuddy AI reserves the right to verify all claims before issuing a refund.
Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, we encourage users to contact RecoveryBuddy AI so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
If a chargeback is initiated:
Access to paid services may be temporarily suspended.
RecoveryBuddy AI may investigate the dispute.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination.
Outstanding balances may remain payable if the chargeback is unsuccessful.
Nothing in this Policy limits your legal rights regarding unauthorized payment disputes.
Third-Party Services
Certain products or services available through RecoveryBuddy AI may be provided by independent third parties.
Refund requests relating to third-party services may be governed by the third party’s refund policies, contractual terms, or applicable law.
RecoveryBuddy AI is not responsible for refund decisions made by independent third-party providers.
Technical Issues
If you experience technical problems accessing a paid service, RecoveryBuddy AI will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
If a technical problem cannot reasonably be resolved and materially prevents access to the purchased service, RecoveryBuddy AI may, at its discretion or where required by law, provide:
A refund.
A replacement service.
Account credit.
Extended access.
Promotional Purchases
Promotional pricing, discounts, coupon codes, referral rewards, and limited-time offers generally remain subject to this Refund Policy.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional purchases are non-refundable.
Taxes and Processing Fees
Where permitted by applicable law:
Taxes previously remitted to governmental authorities may not be refundable.
Payment processor fees may be deducted where legally permitted.

Limitation of Liability

Subscription cancellations.

Governing Law
This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Disputes relating to refunds shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions contained in the RecoveryBuddy AI Terms of Service.

RecoveryBuddy AI may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in applicable law, payment processing practices, Platform functionality, or business operations.
Updated versions will be published on the RecoveryBuddy AI website with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued use of paid services after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Refund Policy.
