Payment Terms

These Payment Terms (“Terms”) govern all purchases, subscriptions, memberships, service fees, transaction fees, invoices, and other payments made through the RecoveryBuddy AI platform (“RecoveryBuddy AI,” “Platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), owned and operated by Digjy LLC.

These Terms apply to Recovery Clients, Peer Recovery Coaches, healthcare providers, treatment organizations, businesses, administrators, and all other users who purchase or pay for products or services through the Platform.

By purchasing, subscribing to, or paying for any RecoveryBuddy AI service, you agree to these Payment Terms.

Scope

These Payment Terms apply to payments related to:

Platform subscriptions
Premium memberships
AI services
Recovery support tools
Peer Recovery Coach services
Provider services
Treatment organization accounts
Educational resources
Virtual recovery meetings
Digital products
Professional services
Marketplace purchases
Administrative fees
Transaction fees
Future services offered through the Platform

Pricing

All prices displayed on the Platform are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

RecoveryBuddy AI reserves the right to:

Modify pricing.
Introduce new pricing plans.
Offer promotional pricing.
Discontinue promotional pricing.
Add new subscription tiers.
Change Platform features associated with pricing plans.

Price changes will not affect purchases already completed but may apply to future purchases or renewals as permitted by applicable law.

Payment Methods

RecoveryBuddy AI may accept payments through authorized third-party payment processors.

Accepted payment methods may include:

Credit cards
Debit cards
ACH payments
Digital wallets
Stripe
PayPal
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Other supported payment methods

Payment processing is performed by third-party payment providers subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

RecoveryBuddy AI does not generally store complete payment card information.

Authorization

By submitting payment information, you represent and warrant that:

You are authorized to use the selected payment method.
The payment information is accurate.
Sufficient funds or credit are available.
You authorize RecoveryBuddy AI and its payment processors to charge all applicable fees.

Providing false or unauthorized payment information is prohibited.

Subscriptions

Certain Platform features may be offered through recurring subscriptions.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges using your selected payment method according to the billing cycle displayed during checkout.

Subscription billing may occur:

Monthly
Quarterly
Annually
On another recurring schedule disclosed during purchase

Subscriptions continue until canceled in accordance with these Terms.

Automatic Renewal

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period.

By subscribing, you authorize RecoveryBuddy AI to automatically charge the applicable subscription fee until you cancel.

You may cancel automatic renewal through your account settings or by contacting RecoveryBuddy AI before the next billing date.

Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically generate refunds for charges already processed unless required by law or covered by the Refund Policy.

Free Trials

RecoveryBuddy AI may offer free trials or promotional access.

Unless otherwise disclosed:

Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period.
Applicable charges will begin automatically unless canceled before the trial expires.

Trial availability may be limited by account, promotion, or eligibility.

Taxes

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices do not include applicable taxes.

You are responsible for paying:

Sales tax
Use tax
Value-added tax (VAT)
Goods and Services Tax (GST)
Other applicable governmental taxes or fees

where required by law.

RecoveryBuddy AI may collect taxes where legally required.

Failed Payments

If a payment cannot be successfully processed, RecoveryBuddy AI may:

Retry the transaction.
Notify you of the failed payment.
Suspend access to paid features.
Restrict certain Platform functionality.
Cancel subscriptions after reasonable notice where permitted by law.
Charge applicable late fees only where disclosed and permitted by law.

You remain responsible for outstanding amounts owed.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, RecoveryBuddy AI may:

Temporarily suspend your account.
Restrict access to paid services.
Request supporting documentation.
Contest fraudulent or invalid chargebacks.
Recover unpaid balances through lawful means.

Nothing in this section limits your legal rights to dispute unauthorized charges under applicable law.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the RecoveryBuddy AI Refund Policy.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated:

Completed purchases are generally non-refundable.
Subscription fees already billed are generally non-refundable.
Partial billing periods are generally not prorated.
Digital products are generally non-refundable after delivery or access.

RecoveryBuddy AI may issue refunds at its sole discretion where appropriate.

Promotional Offers

RecoveryBuddy AI may periodically offer:

Coupons
Promotional pricing
Discount codes
Referral incentives
Credits
Limited-time offers

Promotions:

Have no cash value unless expressly stated.
May not be combined unless permitted.
May expire.
May be modified or withdrawn at any time.

Third-Party Services

Certain purchases may involve third-party providers.

RecoveryBuddy AI is not responsible for:

Third-party pricing.
Third-party billing practices.
Third-party service interruptions.
Third-party payment processing errors.

Questions regarding payment processing may also be directed to the applicable payment provider.

Account Suspension for Nonpayment

RecoveryBuddy AI may suspend or terminate access to paid services if payment obligations remain outstanding.

Suspension does not eliminate your obligation to pay amounts already owed.

RecoveryBuddy AI may restore access after outstanding balances have been paid and account eligibility has been confirmed.

Fraud Prevention

RecoveryBuddy AI reserves the right to:

Verify transactions.
Require identity verification.
Decline suspicious transactions.
Cancel fraudulent purchases.
Suspend accounts involved in suspected fraud.
Cooperate with financial institutions and law enforcement where required.

Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact RecoveryBuddy AI promptly.

We will investigate reported billing concerns in good faith and, where appropriate, issue corrections, credits, or refunds consistent with applicable law and our policies.

Currency Exchange

If your financial institution performs currency conversion, additional fees or exchange rate differences may apply.

RecoveryBuddy AI is not responsible for:

Currency conversion rates.
International banking fees.
Foreign transaction fees.
Charges imposed by your financial institution.

Disclaimer

RecoveryBuddy AI does not guarantee uninterrupted access to paid services.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of:

Scheduled maintenance.
Software updates.
Technical issues.
Third-party outages.
Internet disruptions.
Security incidents.

Such interruptions do not automatically entitle users to refunds unless required by law or expressly stated in our Refund Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Digjy LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to:

Payment processing delays.
Banking errors.
Third-party payment processor issues.
Currency exchange fluctuations.
Service interruptions.
Billing disputes.
Subscription renewals authorized under these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing Law

These Payment Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any disputes relating to payments shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions contained in the RecoveryBuddy AI Terms of Service.

Changes to These Payment Terms

RecoveryBuddy AI may modify these Payment Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on the RecoveryBuddy AI website with a revised Last Updated date.

Continued use of paid services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
