RecoveryBuddy AI is committed to providing a safe, respectful, supportive, and inclusive environment where individuals, Peer Recovery Coaches, healthcare providers, treatment organizations, family members, sponsors, and community members can connect, learn, and support one another throughout the recovery journey.

These Community Guidelines apply to all users of the RecoveryBuddy AI platform, including the website, mobile applications, WordPress plugin, AI services, messaging, recovery journals, recovery meetings, discussion areas, community posts, comments, groups, provider portals, organization dashboards, and all related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By using the Platform, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.

  • Recovery journal entries.

  • Meeting discussions.

  • Messages.

Appropriate Communication

Communications should remain respectful, constructive, and recovery-focused.

  • Copyright infringement.

  • False impersonation.

  • Malicious software.

  • Unauthorized advertising.

  • Pyramid schemes.

  • Multi-level marketing promotions.

  • Platform abuse.

Content that violates applicable law may be removed immediately and reported to appropriate authorities where required.

Harassment and Abuse

RecoveryBuddy AI has zero tolerance for harassment.

Prohibited behavior includes:

Users participating in recovery meetings should:

  • Refrain from disruptive behavior.

  • Follow meeting rules established by the host.

  • Avoid recording meetings without the express permission of all participants when required by law.

  • Protect the privacy of attendees.

Meeting hosts may remove disruptive participants.

Peer Recovery Coaches and Providers

Peer Recovery Coaches, healthcare providers, and organizations are expected to:

  • Maintain professional conduct.

  • Respect confidentiality.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest.

  • Represent credentials accurately.

  • Avoid exploitation of users.

  • Comply with applicable professional standards.

  • Follow applicable laws and regulations.

Professional misconduct may result in suspension or termination of Platform access.

User-Generated Content

You remain responsible for all content you create, upload, or share through the Platform.

By posting content, you represent that:

  • You have the right to share it.

  • It does not violate the rights of others.

  • It complies with these Community Guidelines.

  • It complies with applicable law.

RecoveryBuddy AI reserves the right to remove content that violates these Guidelines.

Intellectual Property

Respect the intellectual property rights of others.

Do not upload or distribute content that infringes:

  • Copyrights.

  • Trademarks.

  • Patents.

Repeat infringement may result in account termination.
